Several outreach events on the key findings from the Sixth Assessment Report and their relevance to Africa are taking place in Dakar, Senegal from 12 to 15 September 2022. Over the four days, IPCC Bureau Members and authors from the three IPCC Working Groups are presenting to policymakers, academia, and students. Key IPCC contributions are including talks and presentations to the ministerial and expert meetings of the African Ministerial Conference on the Environment (AMCEN) and the Least Developed Countries (LDC) Group on Climate Change. Delivered in French and supported with tailored presentations, additional events are also being organized for policymakers, private sector, media and students from Senegal and wider region.This series of outreach events in the Senegalese capital are hosted and coordinated by the Senegal Agency of Civil Aviation and Meteorology (ANACIM). Speakers from the IPCC Bureau include IPCC Vice-Chair Youba Sokona, Working Group II Co-Chair Debra Roberts, Working Group I Vice-Chair Fatima Drioech and authors of the Working Groups I, II and III include Aïda Diongue-Niang, Guéladio Cissé, El Hadj Mbaye and Yacob Mulugetta.
