The IPCC Chair and Bureau Members briefed the Members of the Latvian Parliament (Saeima) on key findings from the IPCC’s Sixth Assessment Report and their relevance for policymakers shaping climate policies and climate action. Speakers covered a range of findings, including, the physical science basis, adaptation to and mitigation of climate change. The IPCC also presented its role and activities for the current seventh assessment cycle. The briefing was followed by a discussion with Members of the Latvian Parliament.
