Informing climate policies in Africa: The science of the IPCC’s Seventh Assessment Report and its relevance for the continent

The objective of this outreach event is to engage policymakers and practitioners attending the Partner Days of AMCEN-20 and inform them and broader audiences about the progress of IPCC’s seventh assessment cycle and the agreed scientific content of the three Working Group contributions to IPCC’s Seventh Assessment Report (AR7) and its relevance to Africa.

Speakers include the IPCC Chair Jim Skea, IPCC Vice-Chair Ladislaus Chang’a, IPCC Bureau Members from Africa and the IPCC Secretariat. 

The event will be held from 10 am to 1 pm on 13 July in Conference Room 3, UNON Campus, Nairobi, Africa.
