Joint Event: Climate change, human and ocean health

The climate change-induced physical or chemical modifications of the oceans, the loss of biodiversity and the destruction of ecosystems, are a vector of direct and indirect health effects for human populations, including those not living in coastal or island regions. 
This side event will present the latest scientific data on these issues and show the need to take them into account in an integrated approach of climate change management and possible solutions.
